Not So Wordless Wednesday and.....a whole lot of gratitude

**Mother's Day flowers from the boys....Koji bought them on his own~~with my money~~ but,
he picked them out all by himself. **

Thank you so much to those of you who wrote such wonderful comments and sent e-mails and e-cards over the past few days.
Your words have helped.
Your "hugs" have been felt and oh, so very much appreciated.

Grandma's funeral was on Tuesday morning. My mom said that it was well it should have been.

My family in Colorado has spent many hours, I'm sure, talking about Grandma...reminiscing about when we were younger...laughing......and crying.

Writing that post was my way of joining those conversations without actually being there. I needed to talk about her and my blog was the best way to do that.

Thank you for reading....thank you for your love and sympathy.

One of my cousins asked if they could read what I had written at the funeral and even though it was not written for that purpose, I was honored that they asked.

I'm even more honored that my brother was the one to read it. Grandma would have liked that.

Thank you.

I didn't get a chance to comment on your other post, but I wanted to give you ((hugs)) too.

I'm not at all surprised they wanted to read your amazing, thoughtful post at her funeral. You brought it all home for all of us, even though we didn't know her. And that photo of the Boy and the flowers? Too totally adorable.

Big smile. I'm still sending you hugs. I know what it's like and I can't imagine living so far away to not be able to go.. My heart is with you.

I'm so glad you got to "be there" after all. I hope the warm memories and cyber hugs help.

Get really busy for a few days and it seems you've missed so much.

The post was perfect for a memorial--you wrote it beautifully.

Koji looks so cute with those flowers, your shoes are great and I have a patio just like the one in the pic in my backyard--there's a seat with your name on it.
