Monday?! Are you kidding me??? ......Bite me!! (but it all ended surprisingly great!)

Today....

was just one of those days.....

You know....the kind where it rains/pours/drizzles pretty much off and on all day long....
...the kind where you lose a ring...one that you've had for almost 10 years...the one you took off on Sunday night as you were making the pizza dough and put it on the shelf above the sink and then this morning? pffft. It was gone.  After wearing a ring there for over 30 years...yep...pretty much you felt naked all day long.....
.....the kind of day where your umbrella gets stolen from the place you were teaching and you have to go out in the rain umbrellaless...

....the kind where you run to the shopping mall to pick up some newspapers for class and the parking garage is so damn full and you don't really realize how full it is until you are already too far in the garage and you can't turn around...you just have to tuff it out.....and try not to go postal on anyone...

...and then....when you feel like you just canNOT take another thing, you come home....
and find a box waiting for you... on the table...from a great friend you feel you have known forever (but really only met in August!)....it's a box that makes you smile...possibly even tear up a bit....
.....and then the day just gets a whole lot brighter.
Have you ever had a day like that???

Then Debbie....with her (incredibly) flat hair....and the boys....put in that CD....and danced.
Good Lord a'mighty....did we ever dance!!!!

Cheri...you rawk! I'm just wondering why Adam
forgot to mention you in his notes...have you spoken to him about this??
<3 you!!

I know you and the boys danced and danced. It's a goooooood CD, huh?

I'm still gonna pick a CD winner like I promised on my blog, but I had to slip one in for you with those Girl Scout cookies!

Enjoy.

XO

P.S. I got all excited that you like the CD and forgot to say that I'm sorry about the rain, the garage, and your ring. Poop! I'm glad you had a nice treat waiting for you and your awesome hair!

There's no day that can't be brightened by some Thin Mints!

Totally awesomeness to the max (not the crappy stuff, but the AL CD). That other stuff stinks.

Sorry about your bad day. Hmmm. I might have to get that Adam Lambert CD. It's that good, huh?

Fun! Nothing like dancing around the house....with a Thin Mint (or two) in your hand.

I love my Nana's ring when I lived in Japan...I think I took it off to peel and orange and threw it away with the paper towel and orange peels. While I miss it, I love knowing a bit of me stayed behind in Japan :-) Ever see the movie Harold & Maude?
