It's still Friday where YOU are....right?

And this is what happens when Mom leaves the room for just a bit......

Bionicles 1....Flamingos....0
(But, the boys informed me that the flamingos did put up a good fight.)

Saturday....11:00 a.m. 3/4 of the Kuroiwa family is about to leave for parts unknown. Papa K decided that it was time for a family outing....son #1 (right dab in the middle of an emotional kerfuffle) has opted to stay and hang out with his friends (the process of getting to this decision was NOT pretty, let me tell you! Mothers of 'tweens may possibly be shaking their heads in total understanding of that statement.)
It's an absolutely beautiful day here today...a bit chilly, but...still very lovely. Two loads of laundry have been hung out...with a short prayer to the 'powers that be' that the dry breeze continues through the day.
Have a great weekend. May it be kerfuffle-free!! (^-^)/

I had a kerfuffle today. Meh.

I hope the flamingos win next time!

It is Friday night here, yup and I'm listening to The Half Blood Prince and chatting on Facebook with an old friend I haven't seen since 1974.

Fingers crossed for kerfuffle-free!

BTW--I mailed your package yesterday. I'm not sure how long San Diego to Nagasaki takes, but hopefully not too long.

LOL at those flamingos! I was in New Orleans last week and saw the most hilarious flamingos and of course thought of you. I know I know I should have just bought them and mailed them. I am a bad friend. Nope didn't even have my camera to take a'll just have to trust me.

Oh I know of what you speak. My darling tween spilled a tiny drop juice on himself yesterday at breakfast, said a few very choice words, then flew upstairs to change - three times. Oh well, it's only the beginning I fear.

Hee hee....I love that the Flamingos got to mix it up with the big boys :-)
As for kerfuffle. Maybe a kerfuffle can be like a bloomer on little girls....under their cute dresses.
OR...maybe a kerfuffle can be that 'extra' bit of icing piped around the edge of a cupcake, making it really good....hmm?
