Since I needed a smile.....

We are now on about "Day 3" of rain....and honestly....a little sunshine would NOT hurt one bit!!

Feeling a bit blue this morning and even though I have a free morning with no classes to actually get something constructive done...can't do it...nope...nada...the "creative well" is dry!! Maybe spending some time with you, my bloggy friends will help....it usually does!! I have enjoyed reading all about graduations going on out there (big and smaller kids!), parties, and all the Father's Day posts were really nice.

I realized earlier, as I was perusing my GoogleReader and getting a bit caught up, that there are blogs that I have been reading but....doing a really good impersonation of a "lurker"....no comments....sorry...sometimes, I just like to read....and even though I am enjoying the crap out of all what is going on out there in "the real world", my commenting has been lacking. I am sorry. Once we get some sunshine, maybe that will change. {smile....or at least trying to!!!}

So....here are some things I found/borrowed/fixed....they make me smile...I hope they do you too!!

Hugs...smiles...and smooches to you all!

Okay, for some reason that last picture did not load until *after* my comment. But, I had to come back and say ummm, holy crap. Can I come for a ride, too?

LOVE the sandcastle kid. And Matthew? He's one of my potential 2nd husbands, you know. I might be game for a smackdown when a hunky Texan is involved...
:O
Except he is a Redskins fan.

(Sending sunshine thoughts; we're actually getting a little here in the great NW)

I'm going to insist that you take a ride in that truck. I read many blogs without commenting. It just depends on the post.

Forget what your mama said about never taking a ride from a stranger and hop in!

Oh, I am SO sorry Debbie, but Matt and I are already, ahem, otherwise occupied, and I am afraid that unless you want to sit in the back, there is no more room in the front of the cab. Now please get out of my fantasy woman!!! * giggles * Unless of course you have David Duchovny in your purse, then I would be willing to trade vehicles.

Whew...is that Mr. Matthew in that truck?! My goodness! (I don't know HOW these photographers keep their lenses from fogging up!)

Love the little man with a fist full of sand, too!

We have had nothing but sunshine and triple digit temps. We're off to the watering hole again today. Then the library, our second home.

Thanks for the smiles. And the panting!

I hope it clears up soon! At least for a few hours - sometimes that's all one needs!!

As for Matthew, he is your sunshine :)

Hugs to you!!!
