...part 2 'cause I can only post 5 pictures at a time...

Jesus, Mary and Joseph!! No wonder I had very few dates during that time in Texas!! Obviously....someone found a salon that liked to do things a bit on the 'kicky' side!!! What you can't see was the tail that went down my back about 6 inches!!! (I'm pretty sure that the tail was actually pink at one point...and then purple in support of the high school foolball team!!!) And those glasses!??!?!?! 'Nuf said!!! *sigh*
Grown-up Debbie. (?) Oh...and one more trip to the perm-crazy salon before we go!!

16 years ago....Debbie...a newbie in Japan and taking that perm-action just one more step....and what's with the nice scarf over the denim jacket?!?! "I'm too sexy for my hair...." :-D Is it just me, or did I actually look younger here than in the previous picture?!?! Must be the clean air....good rice....and seaweed!!!

And now....we bring this strange and interesting (at least for me...this has been kind of fun!!) retrospective to an end...at least for now. The hair is still short...still thin...but getting darker as the years go by.

*Note to self: Have Mom send some "highlights"!!

So...there you go, Mrs. G...and anyone else out there...

I faced the challenge. Can you?!?! Any others out there brave enough???

C'mon....I wanna see YOU now!!!

Have a great week...now I have to go and get some work done for classes tomorrow since I've done pretty much nothing else but this!!! It's been great!!!

I will try scanning some pictures in. It's nice to see such a great retrospective in hairstyles. You and I definitely share some hairstyles in our youth :)

I too sported that "kicky" look for a bit. This is fun--I'm going to have to do it myself soon.

Oh that was so fun. I am loving the hair retrospectives! You did a marvelous job considering that your Mom has many of the pictures...I am in that same boat myself. You look so tan down there in Texas hiding from the hurricane...and I loved the graduation picture. You look a little like my sister Bombshell in her graduation picture....I don't have that one either. Thanks for sharing.

OMG, That was so cool. I laughed out loud at some of these. And your mom, I couldn't believe her. I liked your "grown up Debbie".But what were we thinking with those big glasses, I had them too. The one in the hurricane, man those are some legs woman!

OMG, we have been through so many of the same stages. I also went asymetrical for a while, but I don't have any photographic evidence. We could have been sisters. Thanks for rising to the challenge. What fun!

Debbie, thanks for lettin me know you did this one too! I loved your retrospective and your comments are just so hilarious! It was funny how a lot of the stages were the same...I had mean football shoulders too, and the feathering hahahaha!!
I thought the same thing of certain styles in the 80s and 90s... maybe when we were younger we were in such a rush to grow older ... and older we wanna look younger. Such is life, I guess!
