Oh my goodness!!! You have ENGRISH in America!!

In response to my "venting" about stupid English that we can find pretty much everyday over here (scroll down a few posts!!!)....a good friend sent this to me in an e-mail.

The message was as follows:

Keep in mind this actually really did happen!!!! This was for someone who was moving from an insurance claims office.
Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Wal-mart Employee: "Yo " dis be Wal-marts, how kin I heps you?"
Customer: " I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week."
Wal-mart Employee: "Whacha wan on da cake?"
Customer: "Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that "We will miss you".

And on that sad and slightly disturbing note, I'm turning off the computer....I have escaped into the blogging world and YouTube for waaaaay too long now. I have children around here somewhere that probably need my attention!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

That cake can NOT be for real! I refuse to believe it. You have a great weekend as well.

I'm with you on that Mrs. G...but..it still makes for a funny picture...and, after talking to my friend in Australia earlier about bad grammar and such, odds are high that it is acually real!
Where the hell is my red marker?!?! :-D

What's even more disturbing is that someone took the message and then somebody else wrote it on the cake without questioning it! Now you would think that someone with an ounce of common sense would have known that something was amiss.

Hey Ms.Teacher...that's what my friend from Aust. and I were talking about. Her example was a business card for a wedding coordinator...."weddings and renewal of vowels"!!!! Did the printer people NOT see this?!?! UGH!!!
And thanks to the internet...those mistakes and whoever's stupidity will live....forever!!!
May we always be able to see some humor in this!!!

If you don't laugh you will cry.

My kids call me the grammar police-sometimes it's not pretty, but my kids do not use apostrophes when they're forming a plural!

They know that the way to make my heart sing is to point out a grammatical error!
