A couple of recipes to make you feel better!!

*No...sorry...I do not know who this darling child is...though...I'm sure I can find two pictures of my little ones that are almost exactly the same pose and probably same blue bucket!!!

Happy Wednesday!!!

This is going to be short so I will just get to the point.....(YouTube is calling my name, don't ya know...gotta watch another episode of "My Boys"!!!)

Tonight I treated my dry and yucky feet, heels and elbows to something that was just quite yummy!! My mom told me about this a couple of years ago and for something so simple and easy, I don't do it enough.

Okay.....mix equal parts sugar and olive oil. Get into the bathtub and massage any part of your lovely body that needs the TLC!! I usually mix one or two tablespoons but tonight I did 1/4 cup of each and had enough to just slather all over my body!! (It felt kind of decadent...yet strangely....nice at the same time!!)

After massaging into your skin for a bit....you can go ahead and wash it off, or....like tonight, I soaked in the hot bath for a bit before washing.

I can tell you that I am feeling incredibly soft right now!!! My skin feels like buttah!!!

*The bathtub, on the other hand, is whole 'nuther story....Oh well...I'll clean it tomorrow!!

Now....another recipe...okay...so not so much a "recipe", but something to possibly make you smile!!!

Calmness in Our Lives

"I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now. Please pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace."

So....now...I'm off to see what I can finish off in the fridge....I KNOW there's a bottle of homemade Kahlua ("Kuroiwa Kahlua"!!), with just enough for a nice drink before I zone out on YouTube videos!!!

Happy Hump-Day, Everyone!!!
